In rural idyll a man who could not be more inconspicuous is murdered. His wife, Martina Käster, is in deep mourning for him and can not explain who could have had a motive for the murder. Charlotte Lindholm finds out that the supposedly good husband apparently led a secret double life. Charlotte discovers a dacha filled with photos of a young woman and children’s toys – a reference to a blended family? Trying to identify the woman and the child, the Commissioner comes across further inconsistencies…
