BAD BANKS

Berlinale | Zoo Palast | 21st of February 2018 | 5.00 p.m.
Director: Christian Schwochow

A young banker is embroiled in an intrigue that forces her to cause damage to her own bank. The crisis resulting from this spins out of control.
Things stay exciting until the very last second, as it is never clear who is going to win or lose.
The brilliantly talented banker Jana moves through the world of investment banking like a fish in water. But does she also have a shark concealed in her? And it’s to be much better to be the shark…
BAD BANKS is a breathtaking psychological profile of an industry and its protagonists, a thriller set in the world of high finance.

The six-part mini-series will celebrate its world premiere at the 68th Berlin Film Festival and will be shown in 57 German cinemas on the 23rd of February before airing on ARTE and ZDF in March.
